This is a good album? You have got to be kidding. This is a one good song album. The Look of Love and that's it. The rest of it is dated lame instrumentals that would have fit on Love American Style or background music for The Dating Game. Sound on this is average at best. This is a one play and file it away album. The jacket is cool. Why this is such a expensive album is beyond me. I'm almost sure this was at one time a dollar bin record. A better movie soundtrack would be Taxi Driver

Not sure how to go about adding or updating this. I have a QRLP007 two-LP release that does not have the outside flap and the back cover art is different from the one listed under that record ID. It is (c) 2021. The UPC is 8436560849070 (not 077, like the existing release). I purchased this Oct 2023 new.

The look of love is the sexiest tune ever created in my opinion, and this record is not only a great item to own as a collectible, but to spin whenever you need to seduce a woman...

This album is worth it for "The Look of Love" alone. Certainly one of my favorite versions.

This version of "The Look Of Love" is not only incredibly romantic, it contains some of the smoothest, sexiest sax playing I've ever heard.
I love the way the trumpet comes in at the end then fades. rumor has it that it's Stan Getz on the sax...

It should be noted the version of Dusty Springfield singing "The Look Of Love" on here is not the same as the hit single. It is a far superior rendering produced by Bacharach. It has superior vocal performance, a better saxophone performance, beautiful cymbal playing by the drummer, and vastly greater fidelity vs the single version.

This is a great album to listen to on a very good sound system...The fact that the engineers used an experimental tape to record it and left the levels going at +2, 3 or even 4 makes it a very detailed and loud recording, without the expected distortion. This recording is legenday among audiophiles. Just listening to Dusty Springfield sing ''The Look of Love'' is worth the price of the album.
