Lack of dynamic and bass, but weirdly it sounds pleasing to ears. I think it has a balance sounding overall and the mood is quite right.

Despite being really surprised they put over 70 minutes of music on a single LP, it sounds great. Comes with polylined inner sleeve too.

Out of 300+ records I've bought, this is the worst possible pressing of a record. Which sucks because I love this comp. There's no volume, bass, treble even when I crank it up. Flat piece a crap. So bummed but yeah I'm fuggin returning it. Great album, crap pressing. 😥

I want to say directly that next to the 45 rpm 7" for the music "crazy for you", "live to tell" and "this used to be my playground" (the one I own) the sound of this 33 rpm n ' is not up to par, it's too quiet, lacks dynamics, etc. But that doesn't mean it's a bad pressing, it's quiet and such but it's still decent. is good because it brings together a lot of music in a single disc, but I repeat, the sound is not worth the original 45 rpm 7 "and even less the 12" by far. On the other hand it is to be compared with the original pressing of this LP that I don't own, if there are people who can comment on it, I'm willing...

Crank the volume up and enjoy a powerful sounding compilation.

To me this record sounds fine. Nothing too extraordinary. A little low volume wise. But nice to have this collection of songs together in one piece. 👍

Rather remarkable this sounds as excellent as it does considering each side is roughly 35 minutes in length. It plays very quietly especially after a good wet cleaning and not a hint of IGD towards the end of either side.
My only gripe; I don’t care for either version of “I Want You.” In place of those, “Promise To Try” and “Spanish Eyes” from her “Like a Prayer” album would have been awesome. To me this appears to be 180 gram, but at the end of the day the dynamics and sound quality of this record is hands down amazing.

** 2-22-22 You will need one heck of a tracker/tracer cartridge/stylus that is dialed-in to get the very best (sound) out of this pressing due to the extremely narrow grooves. Yes, the volume of this is a bit low, easy enough to remedy by turning the volume knob up, not a big deal. On my system (NO headphones) this plays phenomenal, it is very punchy and clear. “Justify My Love” would have also been an excellent choice over either/both “I Want You.” Buy with confidence.

Buyers beware. Despite what the sticker says, this is NOT 180-gram release... I bought it yesterday and compared to the original 2013 release which is truly 180gram and this record is much slimmer... Misleading information from Warner.
