The earlier reviews are absolutely correct. Xenakis created some of the most ingenious and memorable electroacoustic music ever recorded. It's amazing how such simple sound sources can be manipulated so brilliantly and without being just another cliché like so many others. I bought the LP in 1984 and was totally blown away then and still am now. A must-have for any serious aficionado of the genre, truly a classic.

Some of the most amazing electronic music ever created. Nothing else sounds like this. An all-time top electronic music recording. Anyone who has any interest at all in "classical" avant-garde electronic music must own this.

It opened my mind to new possibillities.Made me realise how trivial many of the electronic acts i've been hearing until then were...Daring and uncompromising art.
