To be honest I'll never understand why Moogwai rejected the Airbase remix of Moogwai's Neon. Very strange. It's a fantastic uplifting trance track. I'm glad that the label Platipus noticed the potential of it & decided to give it a full release under Rah - Glow (Airbase Remix).

no remix of Moogwai - Neon it's just ripoff of Vincent De Moor - Shamu (1998) !

Personally, I like "Glow" better than the other track - its much catchier and much more uplifting - I could dance to this in a club or just listen to it at home - either way its beautiful but danceable too.

As I can't remember which side is actually which track...

One of these is without doubt the most uplifting happy trance track in my box!! Emotional and airy melodic chords, building euphoric peaks, and just the right level of 'punch' are combined to deliver what to me is the perfect trance track :)

The other side is a very interesting piece of work. Although the melody is totally original and quite engrossing, the rhythm is a bit unusual and there is no power behind the beats whatsoever. It has a very soft introduction, and even in the later-mid-section never takes off which is a shame. I find it really quite hard to mix with and can understand why it get much DJ play when released.

Airbase is a young Swedish producer whose music I do like but I do have some issues with a lot of it, as a lot of it tends to be standard & dull. But then he created was then his uplifting trance remake of Moogwai's Neon. Moogwai rejected the remix but his Platipus liked the track and it was released under the name Rah - Glow (Airbase Remix). This track is one of his highlights and it's just because it is what good uplifting trance should be about. Nice pads and a lush melody being played on a great beat.
