This is the third and last release in the "4-track era" serie.

This disc consists of strictly "vintage" original productions of DJ Shadow, back in the day when a was still in high school.

The most impressive thing on this disc is the experiment touch and the feeling that the man was having fun, simply by making music in blending sounds, extracts and beats from vinyls of his collection.

This is for me the "start" of what we know as "beautiful sample based music", the prelude of "Shadow's legitimate mix"(on Zimbabwe Legit), and an opening to the supreme song collagist he became next, using a sampler instead of his MT 100 Yamaha 4-track recorder.
