This album sounds much better to me now then it did in 1989/90. I do not know why, but it seemes to me like that. Here we have a gruop of amazing musicians around David Coverdale's vocal, and they made a fantastic rock album. Here everything is right, and whole album sounds great. Is it the best Whitesnake album, probably not, but this album is very god. I think Steve Vai should stayed there much longer than he did.

It's hard to follow up on your biggest commercial success. Why not dust off one of your old hits from the glory days and make it the first single? Good idea David!
