Super sounding record. I picked up my copy, new and sealed in 2024 and neither disc is absolutely flat. I wonder if this is a common occurrence over time. It’s not detrimental, but thought it worth noting.

This is a beautiful record. Thanks Bob.

Great sounding vinyl. No surface noice! Mine has 2 B-side Labels instead of an A-Side label. Anyone else have this with their copy?

Fixes all of the pops that wouldn't come out with cleaning on two separate black copies I had. Dead silent and beautiful throughout.

I have 3 pressings of this album (black, gold and yellow) and this is the best one! Dead quiet and looks so good!

I love the sound of this pressing! His vocals sound great...warm and right in your ear.

I would not have bet that Bob Dylan could be featured in my personal best of 2020 otherwise that with a new re-issue under the "bootleg series" flag. This new album, preceded by that unbelievable "Murder most foul" seventeen minutes track as a single surprisingly proves to be another masterpiece of our (Zimmer)man who has now nothing to prove (but he does it, when Sting or McCartney do not) ! This music, of course, was meant to be listened on vinyl material and support. My copy is a "yellow" one (I would have rather said "cream" instead to be honest) having bought it in a European independant dealer (each colour reveals its source) and, for me, sounds beautiful, with a very good pressing. It is a very lovely item too.
The band sometimes can be heard as if they were playing in your room, and the voice is very very close (Dylan sings better and better, in my opinion, not technically of course, but clearly personifying his literary positioning and allowing himself to finally reveal a crooner). Nick Cave will be jealous of the spoken parts... and that is a reference !

Lovely quiet pressing, and hold it up to the light and you will see a slight marbling

I was expecting to receive the gold pressing but received this yellow one. after reading such horrible reviews of the gold pressing I’m glad I received this one. No noise after a quick brush, at least not that I can hear and no warps. seems like this is the version to get.

Yeah, "life has surface noise" as John Peel are known for having said, but if I want to enjoy the sounf of a crackling fire then I go camping. I traded my yellow to the standard black, but have not been able to listen to it yet.

As other have already said, this is the best new Dylan album since Modern Times (maybe even Time Out of Mind). But it needed this vinyl release for me to connect to the album and really appreciate it. Murder Most Foul is so much more impactful as the album‘s finale compared to just listening to it on Spotify or YouTube disconnected from any context.

In regards to the pressing: The mastering is beautiful and the yellow (or rather „vintage lemon“) vinyl looks great. It‘s been pressed at MPO like most European Dylan releases in the last couple of years. Whilst it seems that the EU pressing is superior to the US variants, it isn‘t without its flaws. There are few minor pops and some sides are slightly off-center (but sound quality not affected). So although it‘s not perfect, it‘s a pressing I would recommend as the overall experience is great.
