Reviews
- One of the best and most overlooked bands the first wave of US punk/hardcore had to offer. Nobody sounded like Really Red and nobody ever will. Had Really Red records been released on a larger label with better distribution -- say Alternative Tentacles or Frontier -- their impact would have been far greater, their name far more recognizable and rightful legacy firmly secured. In my book, Really Red are nearly the equals of Dead Kennedys in originality and talent. SHOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE. But hopefully the upcoming reissues on Alternative Tentacles will right some of this injustice.
