The copy that i picked up from my local record store sounds clean, no surface noise, pop here and there that is associated with records. Love the “demo” acoustic sound, and tons of reverb that she is known for!

My only issue is that the hole is a little tight.

my pressing is pretty much free of SN but there is distortion here and there, biggest problem is that its quite off centre and slightly warped

I can attest that this pressing doesn't sound good. Sound is just completely distorted and full of surface noise. Slightly off center as well. It's a shame, the packaging and the vinyl itself are absolutely stunning, but the quality stops there. That said, the digital version is also fairly LoFi - perhaps the poor mastering doesn't transfer well to vinyl, or it wasn't mastered for this format at all. If anything the digital version sounds marginally better.

On that note, does anyone know where this was pressed?

This is an lp of demos and probably home demos. That is why theres that lo fi quality. Its harking back to the stlye of angels early eps. The pressing isn't perfect by any means and personally would give it 7/10 but at the same time it is an album of demos, an accompanying peice to All Mirrors and not an audiophile recording. So if thats what you're looking for you won't find it here but if you want to hear the songs how they would been conceived this is it

Seconding the other person who pointed out the pressing flaws. I've gone through two copies now and it's definitely not a great pressing, quality wise. While the album is a lo-fi recording, there are several instances of distortion and surface noise that are only present on the vinyl

I just realised there is a vinyl version of this record with a signed print of the cover artwork. If someone is willing to sell their print, hit me up. :)

In contrast to the other review, I have to say this is no masterpiece of sound quality - but that might just be the recording? My copy sounds very grainy, low-fi and kind of distorted. Had to play something else immediately after to check my stylus wasn't dying...

Probably one of the best Vinyl's I've had in a while. Excellent sound quality and the sleeve is a robust gate-fold cardboard w/ great artwork. I haven't seen a record company make a sleeve this nice since the 60's.
