Probably the best Ultravox album from the Ure lineup in my opinion due to it containing better material than Vienna- and honestly I'd buy this over that any other day (no offense).

You can tell that both Foxx and Ure from this point onward developed a very similar style which is only differentiated by their voices; Foxx sings with a robotic mechanical tone taking from vintage science fiction while Ure takes his cues from the new romantic antics of Visage and Duran Duran. Both are essentially two sides of the same coin as they seem to use familiar instrumentation and punk-rock leanings mixed with the new-wave electronic style of that era.

    10/10 It's a good album.

Just bought a second hand copy. It has one label in gold writing and the other side white, but both labels are for side2. Anyone any ideas which copy it is

Design is kind of Italian Fascist Chic. Guess that was the politics floating around in the early 80s. The music/lyrics seem apolitical though, if anything the previous release, Vienna, seemed to allude to a more Eurocentric perspective with songs like New Europeans, Western Promise, and of course Vienna (you know, home of 88).

I really like this album...it's as simple that. It's creative.
