Notes
Middle School Band recontextualizes often-maligned grade school recitals performed by young amateur musicians as true experiences of unpretentious unfiltered expression. Even while stumbling through basic beginner melodies, the dissonant and atonal quality of the pieces feel truly avant garde. Naive and not self-aware enough to care, Middle School Band is honest music any way you hear it.
