Reviews
- Pressing is very strong coming off my stereo. Crisp, resonant, solid all-around. Another amazing record by everyone's favorite pensive chronicler of understated human connections!
- Nice pressing to my ears. Very little background noise for a relatively sparse record, and no distortion as mentioned elsewhere.
- It's definitely a weird pressing. I have the same problems listed below----lots of distortion on the vocals, and looked to be in rough shape right out of the wrap. Maybe the delay in pre-orders had something to do with quality issues?
- As a previous reviewer noted, there is weird distortion on the vocals on some of the tracks and it sounds like a mastering or pressing issue. Absolutely distracting and disappointing.
- Vocals are distorted on several tracks on this pressing, most obviously on The Mackenzies. I returned mine for another, but it had the same problem. Amazing sounding record in all other ways... but the distortion is a major bummer!
- Edited one year agoHeard a lot of talk about a pressing issue/missing orders. I can't get my hands on a copy which is strange for Drag City. Anyone know what's up?
