Reviews
- 2 stars because the liner notes. etc are cool. This master sounds like hammered $hit. Buy the cd or stream it. Such a disappointment.
- Fantastic pressings. Minimal surface noise. Plenty of room in the gatefold to upgrade the inner sleeves.
- Deluxe edition digital download doesn't include the deluxe tracks. Odd, if streaming has these tracks. The vinyl version of the digital download is only the original album. A bit of a bummer for a deluxe edition that is a bit lacking in quality. Looks like it's ready for the Target shelves, not a. deluxe release.
- A bit of a bummer that the deluxe vinyl version's digital download does not include the instrumental deluxe tracks. Just the original version of the album is provided. Streaming gets the deluxe track. If you buy the vinyl deluxe version and it states digital download include. I would think you would get the deluxe tracks in digital format as well. As many of stated the physical quality of the deluxe version is a bit lacking. Looks ready for Target shelves, not a deluxe release.
- Not sure I agree with all the bitching about this pressing. I do agree that the packaging is weak for the "deluxe edition", but the pressing sounds good.
- Front to back, Side A through H, this release is fantastic. Sounds like I may have gotten lucky with my copy. But, as others have stated, the sleeve is terrifyingly fragile, and no sticker sheet.
- The Deluxe Version sounds like it was cut from an 128kbit mp3. The pressing itself is ok'ish. Its quiet and i heard only 1-2 clicks. But the master...wow, just wow. It's a muddy mess. I'll stick with my 24bit download which sounds perfect! My record shop took the deluxe edition back. They said i was not the only one who complained about the bad sound quality.
