Such a good album but surface noise is very bothersome. Prine is an American treasure and this wonderful collection should be presented much better than this. What a shame.

Solid 180g LPs but there is a lot of nonfill going on. Most noticeable during A4/A5. Oh well...

An ok pressing. I have a few pops here and there but it's not bad enough to upset me. However, an argument can easily be made that this is the greatest Prine album ever. His aged voice combined with a more melancholic sound is just incredible. If you don't get teary eyed during the intro to Hello in There I'm guessing you don't have a soul. Even with the varying quality from album to album, I think this is worth the money.

My copy plays with a significant number of pops and other noise that is only somewhat intrusive. It is a real shame because the mastering is really nice and if not for the noise it would really present the comforting feeling of John being in the room.

Playing now lost count at over 15 loud pops on Side 3. Doesn't sound like replacements any better.
            Too bad good album.

Sounds like I got lucky with my copy. For the exception of a little surface noise near the end of side 2, the pressing I got plays very clean. Whew, dodged a bad United Pressing! Beautiful album that makes me pine for Prine. RIP John.

Ok pressing. Lots of surface noise and residue on sides B/C for me. Might go for a replacement.

Anyone else getting inner groove distortion and pitch issues? My side C is not playable at all.
