- Beautiful record with great sound. No crackle or surface noise. Get this pressing of Britney’s best album IMO.
- Beautiful vinyl and also a good pressing (not usual for UO lol) Side A plays very good with some crackles, Side B has some more but nothing too serious
- Edited 3 years agoThe quality control on this pressing is terrible. I got one copy with side B way out of center and another one with deep scratches on Me Against the Music. The 3rd and final copy is finally a good one.
The LP sounds great, but certainly should sound better if it was a 2XLP set. 7 songs on one side? Please, no!!! - Edited 3 years agoMine copy has huge amount of light scratches and surface marks both sides, and plays with too many crackles and pops, since when i unsealed it, today. It was stored in very thin inner sleeve, which cause static, and when i pulled it out carefully, it had many small parts of plastic pieces, which i assume caused the scratches.. Vinyl looks very cheap and cover also.
The sound quality is great with dynamics and bass, yet the condition of the vinyl is NOT good, as i said plays with many crackles.
I don't recommend this for the price it is selling, after all. - This one is pretty close to being great, but I had a few issues. Overall the presentation is nice and the sound quality it pretty good. There was no notable background noise, but I did experience a good bit of pops and clicks even after a cleaning. Side A didn’t have any problems, but side B was slightly misprinted causing some tonearm waggle and a bit of sound warping that was mainly noticeable during the longer notes of “Everytime”. Also, on side B I experienced some decent IGD and sibilance during the last two tracks, which was the most disappointing issue. And just a little nitpick, the edges of the LP are rough and detract from the beauty of the colored vinyl. But, from my experience, this is all pretty standard for these cheaper releases and I’m not sorry that I bought it. It is worth picking up if you are a fan.
- No skips or pops, very clear, However in the last 3 songs "Brave New Girl", "Everytime" and the extremely un-needed "Me Against The Music (Rishi Rich's Desi Kulcha Remix)" the record seems to start playing half a key higher in some parts of tracks, Obviously this could just be my player but all the other songs sound pristine. On top of this, My copies hole wasnt cut properly and has small white strings inside it, The edges are rough and there are small parts of white pastic all through both sides. As stated in another comment on here, Mine also appears to have some metallic blue paint through it. Though this may not be my favourite UO pressing I must admit that if we look past the flaws, this record is much more beautiful than the first pressing "Blackout" vinyl with the black and grey marble effect that looked like they went on google and searched "marble photos" and printed it onto the vinyl. However, Quality wise, this is my first UO vinyl to have rough edges, plastic bits and hole problems.
- My copy was warped and the disc quality looked quite cheap: the cut on the edges is sloppy, there are bits of plastic on the record, the whole in the center was sloppy and too small, requires a knife to pop out of the spindle after a play and as I said, the copy was warped. Urban Outfitters makes pretty looking vinyl but they are not really for people who care about the sound quality.
- I don't know if it's just me, but the blue in this pressing looks a lil bit metallic (like the oops gold). It's not very noticeable because of how deep the blue is but I decided to put it under a flashlight and it seems true. Someone please tell me I'm not hallucinating.
- My copy plays wonderfully! Way better than the first blue/white pressing. Nothing beats clear, though.
My jacket feels flimsier than usual, if that's any possible. - I LOVE this album. I just felt impulsive and had a 30% off coupon so I just went to my local UO to pick it up. Last copy. It is perfect. The clear and blue splatter is similar to the Oops B Side but more dark blue. The pressing is great very deep bass and good volume. Mine has no warp and the edges do seem a little rough, but not terrible. I love every song on the album. It's such a classic. Good memories of high school.
