My copy is very distorted. Almost every track sounds terrible. Sucks.

My copy of this release has modest surface noise and some occasional clicks and pops (not cleaned). The sound stage is very wide and open. The high frequencies are crisp and slightly bright. Bottom end is punchy but somewhat thin. Listening in 2.1 improves this. The vocals are slightly flat - perhaps as intended. The recording provides a lot of interesting detail and overall this pressing has a warm tone with the vocals being slightly cooler. I wish the vocals were warmer and fuller. (Rega Planar 3, Exact 2 cart, PSE Studio SL, Linn LK85, Linn interconnects, Linn Katans, - Linn Sizmik 12.45" for 2.1 - )

Unfortunately, my copy is flat and muddy as many others have reported here.

I have a recent copy of this that's actually quite good. Vinyl's surface noise is quiet, cut is LOUD but that's alright, no tracking problems but my cartridge is properly mounted. I think they started using better vinyl for these at some point, my discs are REALLY heavy, I'd wager closer to 200 grams

To me, it's their best album. Luckily, I have this pressing that's signed by all of the members

While this is not super great pressing, it does become excellent once you get the tracking balance set just right. Just a little bit of imbalance makes this record a distorted mess. Once you have it right its a psychedelic beauty that you should play often, especially in summer.

What a garbage pressing. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but even my untrained ears can detect how bad this is. It's so distorted, fuzzy, and overall muffled. 3/10 for the pressing, 10/10 for the music\
