My copy sounds perfect. Dynamic and full. No distortion or other issues whatsoever.

My 2009 pressing (pretty sure this was a day 1 purchase for me) sounds pretty terrible now that I'm revisiting it. It's like the whole mix was smashed thru a brickwall limiter or something, just no life in the mix at all.

Interesting experimental electronic sound with emphasis on vocal performance. Tons of low end, particularly with sub.

The pressing looks great, but sound wise doesn't have the dimension that this mix should have. That is either being lost in mastering, or pressing.

Absolutely stellar. Great presentation, and super dynamic sound. Super surprised, in a good way, with this

Huge wall-of-sound production that will tax the best of speakers and the louder you can play it, the more impassioned the experience. Modern Prog Rock explosion of vibrant images and emotions. A classic that deserves a strong vinyl presentation and that is delivered here. Rega RP3, Dynavector 10x5 & P75 MkIV preamp, Parasound HINT 6, ATC SCM11 speakers.

I almost exploded my subwoofer with this pressing. So punchy and fun to listen too! That being said, I am only giving it a 4 because it does have a pretty considerable amount of surface noise and the edges of my copy were not cut properly.

Amazing pressing, sounds brilliant...Just a shame mine came with the inside spine badly creased and the sleeves with seam splits. But I mean it sounds awesome and that’s what your really after.

I hope Merriweather eventually gets the quality colored pressing that it very much deserves, like the VMP pressing of Panda Bear’s ‘Person Pitch’. It would be very fitting for this album.
