Timeless and influential film soundtrack which features 90's classics from Orbital, Leftfield, Underworld, The Prodigy, Kruder & Dorfmeister and Massive Attack. Not a fan of Record Store Day but very happy that Hackers finally got pressed on vinyl. Only had to wait 24 years, 3 months and 8 days!- How can you not love this. I mean unless you don't like the movie which has somewhat of a cult following. But I love the movie so I love the soundtrack. I've been watching this movie since it came out. I hope they release the Hackers 2 soundtrack to vinyl (that was a 2nd soundtrack they release on CD due to the popularity of the first soundtrack).
I paid a premiuim for this as I did not get it on RSD so that part sucked. 
Edited one year agoBest movie soundtrack ever made. Now we just need vol 2 & 3 released because these soundtracks were definitive of the Era and just so good. Speaking of good cult classic movies, wen slc punk soundtrack on vinyl???
Missing my favorite tracks sadly. Where is Plastico - Communicate?! that one is awesome! and where is Carl Cox - Phoebus Apollo? Or what about Ramshackle's Eyes Lips Body? Awesome one was finally pressed though I just already own a Prodigy Music for the Jilted Generation and that starts limiting the need for this just down to like Orbital, Underworld and maybe Stereo MC's and whatnot.
Absolutely love this release, and have spun it many times.
Any chance at all that the label would release vinyl editions of the 2nd and 3rd albums with more from and inspired by the soundtrack?
HACK THE PLANET!
My only gripe with this is the should have corrected an error and included the FULL 8:48 version of the Leftfield / Lydon track. It was truncated by almost 2 minutes on the original soundtrack and shouldn't have been.
Be quick, I've seen this going for much higher than what was originally stated for RSD. Luckily some sellers are being very reasonable and i managed to grab myself a mint one without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.
As for the quality, I'm really impressed and this goes for both the vinyl and the sleeve. Pretty much just echoing what everyone is saying. Great purchase from a great film!

Flawless pressing, perfectly quite and song selection is everything I wanted. Hope they press more, this soundtrack is definitely worth the original price. Shame it jumped x3 the price after only an hour of street release. To those who want it, get it fast, don't pay too much and enjoy.- Incredible pressing, for anyone who wore out their VHS tape trying to listen to the original score this is a dream come true.
