Hildegard's influence has grown over the past two decades as the church continues to modernize herself by elevating its early women. The pivot is welcome for lovers such as Hildegard and loves of sublime music such as myself. This Hyperion collection is a fine representation of the numerous recordings available and provides my favorite interpretation of O Presul Vere Civitas that has thus far been recorded.
