Show All 11 Reviews- This album sounds great! all my other Weeknd records (Starboy and Dawn FM Target Exclusive) are two of my best sounding records in my cabinet. His records, and especially this one, has a really spatial sound. the only problem this record has is that there is some kind of glue on the grooves on Blinding Lights? I cleaned it and I heard about 10 pops, but luckily the record doesn't skip. There is still some of the glue on the record that I couldn't remove by cleaning it. This is disappointing, but it could have been worse. My favorite song on this album is After Hours, which is also my favorite song of The Weeknd.
- Nice pressing, sounds quite good and the music of The Weeknd is fantastic. Glad to have this vinyl version with "Deluxe Edition" misprint on the spine: maybe it will be considered a rarity
- Generally great quality on my copy. Sadly, track number three on side A has major skipping issues throughout the song. Unplayable. The first copy had the exact same issue. Plays nice apart from that.
- This was the first vinyl I bought.... I don't know, in 25 years? So, I have to say that I started my collection with this album and with the purchase of my amazing Projetc Debut III turntable.
And, why did I pick this album? It's not really my music, but blinding lights was the most listened song of 2020 and I wanted something very well produced to test the quality of my equipment. And man, this sounds great. And has very decent hits besides the No. 1 Blinding Lights. So, this is pretty much it.
I hope you enjoyed it, I normally write in Spanish but, well, the Weeknd it's more into english. - I recently got the gold target splatter version and I noticed that the spine on that said simply Weeknd after hours whereas my Black standard version says Deluxe but I don’t get why it’s deluxe? Can anyone explain there isn’t any extra tracks both vinyls appear to be the same except obviously the colour difference?
- Pressing sound good. Loud and precise. A side was damaged at opening. Packaging is very nice but media is not 1-Level enough for me. Hardpass from this label, should've signed with bigger record company to ensure higher quality imo
- This pressing sounds fantastic! I'm always cautious when I buy records pressed by GZ Media but I have to say that the last few records that I got that are made by them sound incredible, and this one is no exception.
- Great sounding pressing and probs my fave album of the year so far but on the spine of this release its listed as "After Hours Deluxe Edition", considering this has the original artwork and doesn't include the 3 bonus songs I imagine this is a mistake
