Housed in an embossed gatefold sleeve, the red elements to the front are embossed. The sleeve is gloss black intercut with a highly intricate matte patterning.
The discs are held in side opening black / red picture inner sleeves of thin card. These have a soft sheen finish.
Some copies came with a hype sticker applied to the shrink-wrap.
Some copies from independent UK retailers came with a 25mm button pin badge.

I bought my copy in 2023. Absolutely no way to tell that this is a repress (and of course it must be) - same matrix, same sleeve etc. Actually good sound but some sharp sibilance on side C while the three other sides are without problems. So, I would rate it 3,5/5. Of course still better than the CD and overall a balanced sounding record, flat and without any clicks, pops or other noises.
There’s been a rumour going around that some early copies of the album on Double LP have tracks from The Clash album ‘Live At Shea Stadium’ in place of side 2 on LP 1. First saw that rumour on Wikipedia. Can anybody confirm that?- this is a decent 2 lp issue from 2008, no gatefold sleeve or anything like that, i felt the last record from 2014 rock or bust was better then this one.......
