"Showtime" is the perfect start for every long Disco night. Fabulous!!- Edited 3 years agoIt's not clear why the decision was made to do this - if you listen to the LP carefully, the majority of the songs are in mono. The only cut in true stereo is Keep On Dancin'. The last song on the LP, a slow jam, might be stereo. But for sure, 4 of the cuts were mixed mono, including the subsequent 12 inch releases and any later re-edits (like Danny Krivit's re-edit of Lets Lovedance Tonight). A shame, for a release done in 1979.
