- Edited one year agoAnyone have a copy of this w/o issues? On my 2nd copy of this pressing and both have issues. First copy had a loud non-fill scrape sound on one side and repeated loud clicks on the other. 2nd copy has more subtle but repeated non-fill short scrape sounds that ruin it throughout the first side. 2nd side has some pops. The defects are different for each. It could be a bad batch or the problem could be wider spread. I'm afraid to pick up a 3rd copy.
Update: 3rd copy is a keeper. One pop on the A side and a few muted pops on the B side. Hopefully they will floss out over time, but not bad if they don't. - My copy sounds fine. None of the issues mentioned earlier (fortunately). Dead silent too.
I agree I have to use my dj phono preamp that has gain control, avoid this mine is on the way back to amazon.- Pretty flat sound unfortunately, high freq. are just cut out.
