The bee’s knees....the cat’s pajamas.....the dog’s bollocks. Normal weight vinyl (accept no substitutes), flat, quiet as a church mouse and huge sounding. Run, don’t walk......

This is an excellent album, fully agree with the comments below. By chance, i heard them on Jools Holland playing Valleys and thought this is a band well worth checking out. Definitely one you play then play again.

A stunning debut - a fusion of New Order guitar hooks and early Human League synth attitude with a little bit of acid house and techno thrown in before a Stone Roses inspired album finale. All of this demands repeated plays. Beautiful packaging for the vinyl too with a plastic download card - very nice touch :)

Worth waiting for. Long time since I played an album then put it straight back on again from the start. Enjoyable presentation, both audio and album contents - mine came with a poster, download card, megamix CD. My pressing came perfectly flat, without any noise and I think lovely production and mastering. Reminds me a bit of some Joy Division/New Order, Martin Hannett style record production. Not dynamically flat at all, as i was concerned it was going to be with the use of drum machines and the band's new emphasis on synths. In fact, this is an interesting and rewarding listen, with some great guitar parts and beats.
