This Dutch pressing sounds phenomenal. Very, very little background noise and all details are crystal clear. Recommended!
Edited 2 years agoMy copy has the VR 20201 -A III runouts as in this listing but mine varies in the label layout in that track and title info is centrally below the spindle hole and 33RPM AMLS 68258 A&M RECORDS LTD STEREO is on the right at 3 o'clock and SIDE ONE at 9 o'clock which I think would make it a label variant? it also has the lyric insert.- I haven't compared this one with a US or UK press... but i must say it sounds phenomenal, i mean i rarely listen a record with such dynamics and realism, i just put this record and my system fools me that the band is playing in front, the shouts and details in School are very real and they appear so distant from the instruments. Could i get a better expereince of this album? i dont know, but i'm happy with this keeper copy
- I'm pretty sure my pressing isn't on here... It's the AMLS 68258, SP 3647 ("made in Holland") but with a stamped AMLH 19-68258-2A-1 on side A.
My copy differs from this one, in the labels ;
SUPERTRAMP
CRIME OF THE CENTURY (It's on top, with the song's titles & credits, under the spin-hole). Besides that on the right, there's an asterisk (simbol) over the STEREO AMLS 68258 SP 3647 AWA (Writing note).
Mine comes without lyrics insert.
