I was confused as to which pressing I'd grabbed because my copy has the same etching on the runouts as the test pressing but I think the 2020 version is the only one that has the MASTERDISK etching. Anyway : I listened to it at medium-low volume but the only track that had bad distortion was A2. Other than that it is just a splendid work of art and collectible. The packaging is beautiful, the music and the recording of it are a thing of wonder. Though being cut a bit hot the pressing is super quiet and clear. It really feels like you're time-traveling to Adrianne's cabin in the woods and witnessing the whole process. Probably one of the most gorgeous lockdown testimonies you could think of.

I read the comments and want to report my 2020 pressing is terrific, dead quiet and sounds like she's in the room. Hope this helps?

Tons of noticeable vocal distortions on the first disc. I am pretty disappointed as I love the source material.

Such a beautiful album and I’m pleased with the pressing; quiet, good separation and no distortion. Big Thief pressings have not always been great (Buck Meek solo too have been disappointing). Happy with this though.

Adore this album, so I really wish it sounded decent on this press... I genuinely can't imagine anybody listened to the test print. The vocals get noticeably distorted throughout some of the tracks, and it seems to me like it should've been such an easy fix. Super disappointed that Anything is one of the tracks that gets messed up... Definitely buy this on CD if you're wanting it physically.

Instrumentals (the second disc) sounds gorgeous though. I imagine it was just the vocal effect they used that isn't playing right.

looks like a scratched up scuffed up shitshow but actually plays really well. got worried when i pulled it out of its sleeve but after brushing it off it played pretty quietly without too much noise. no distortion or warping on mine, plus the discs are pretty heavy.

Great album. Not much surface noise but poor pressing. There’s distortion on louder passages, which is hard to bear, but oddly it doesn’t seem to be on every song.

For what we pay for vinyl, the quality should be better.

I am surprised at all the complaints about the pressing. Mine came with some surface scuffs but I am pretty sure that was the fault of USPS (I did not pay extra for premium shipping). Once broken in it plays nicely and the pressing does justice to the songs and the recording.
