Intelligent Electropop of first class from California. "Executive Flesh" spins twelve stories, taken from the Sacramento surroundings of CASUALTY PARK, against an evocative backdrop of lush electronic rhythms and fragile atmospheres. Making excellent use of samples and instruments, Martin Birke and Aaron Kinney pace the album very carefully, putting their own stamp of quality in the production. From the opening track, "Empty" - a pure groovy Synthpop jewel - to the spoken words of the more experimental "The Game," and from the mist of "Still No Sleep," to the rhythms of "Xpark," this album slowly pushes the listener into a sonic abyss. "Executive Flesh" has a passion that will make you dance - one of the hottest American discoveries in Electronic Pop.
