zrturner please carve every word before you let it fall :
I have just analised my vinyl copy with MAAT Dynamic Range Offline Meter :

The first two tracks are a little bit compressed, all other tracks sounds great for a 2020 lp.
What do you mean by compressed ? Are your ears nice? Are your headphones great ?
Are you kidding?

This is way too compressed. I thought it sounded overly mastered without headphones and then listened with headphones and was even more disappointed. This IS a cool album but one of the engineers screwed the audio up big time. If you know audio and can picture a master file sound wave, listen to this honestly and TRY to tell yourself this isn’t squashed.
Anyone else get a copy with a gouge in the vinyl, rendering the first cuts on side one and two unplayable, or was that just my bad luck ?

What an absolutely brilliant release. What a tough jet groovy music, what a tough attitude! Miles to the soundengineer in the beginning of "Carrado" concerning the take number: "What difference does it make, motherfucker?", might that be the reason for it being unreleased until now ;) ? This is no music for squares or nerds. What a croaking, raunchy voice! That may explain his fantastic smokey-cool trumpet tone. Nice jacket/ original artwork of Klarwein. Enjoy!

I can only agree with the previous contributors and repeat with the greatest pleasure - after listening to the LPs yesterday:
Absolutely fantastic pressing, no pressing errors, flat LPs, very quiet (=no running noise), very spatial, just great and fun to listen to! Fortunately not 180g nonsense! Very recommendable!

Great pressing and I like this release from the Bitches Brew Sessions better than Bitches Brew itself. Maybe the baby was switched at the hospital ;)
