- Excellent album. Back when Incognito had a bit more funk to their sound before they got too polished (basslines are of that time, capturing the transition from a funkier 70’s sound to the smoother R&B / Soul sound of the 80’s ). On some so gs the sound has that Freeez’s ‘Southern Freeez’ vibe… both albums were released in 1981. Bluey’s recent Str4ta project recaptures this early sound.
