Rewritten extract from my French Independent & Underground Obscurities article in Audion 56 (2010): Most compare Philippe's song style to Albert Marcoeur, as that's the only real reference that makes sense, but his music was way more dark and twisted, involving mutilated electronics, demented rock-folk worthy of a Faust album, and so much more.
The first album RAMASSE MIETTES NUCLAIRE also feels a little like Heratius, there are lots of bric-a-brac vaguely Faust meets Henry Cow like elements, pieces of crazed electronics, and offbeat off-the-wall freak-outs that mix in the weirdest of understated songs - in almost indecipherable French of course. Wonderful!
