Reviews
- The repress of all the Brilliant Adventure albums is available and I have bought the CD Collection; does anyone know how to differentiate between the new 2022 version and the previous 2020 version? Are these also 'Limited'? Any suggestions would be welcome :-)
- The music and the recording are perfect.
However, chopping off the joint performances with NIN instead of reaching a fair agreement with Reznor was petty and self sabotaging.
Whoever supervised the chaotic and money grubbing release strategy should be ashamed of themselves - Some copies of this still available via davidbowie.com but the second in the series, No Trendy Réchauffé, has sold out. Therefore, if you want this at cost price then get you bum into gear!
- Excellent. Cannot fault the recording. Recording gets bolder as it progresses. Worth getting the CD or album just for some kickin versions of songs, such as We Prick You, Andy Warhol, Nite Flights, and Under Pressure. Reminds you how the Outside material really does seem to have been written to be performed live. I saw the '95 tour and it was very visceral as it got to the later dates and the band more confident. This CD also reminds you how old school Bowie was in some ways, always ensuring great backing bands of top musicians.
- Cd on dig! stories currently if you are quick - these are limited to 6000 copies, the person who posted the release states.
