Dynamic would've been the best tune on the reissue release in my opinion.

As another user has already commented, the late 1991 original recording of this tune is much better than the reissue which came out a few years ago, in my opinion. Yes, the remaster job is chunkier and louder and the Amen breakbeat is more pronounced as it sounds like it's been refitted from a different Amen source. The kick and snare are louder. For me, that doesn't make it better. It lacks the authenticity of the original version. Even without much bottom end in the hissy breakbeat of the original made it sound more hectic and let all the riffs express themselves. I'm finding with many of these remasters there is something lacking and more often than not, it's not the mastering itself but some crucial elements are removed be it part of the percussion / rhythm sections, edits, reverb, echo or basslines. Just a few weeks ago I listened to a remaster which sounds like 40% of its original elements had been omitted.

The remaster is a good release as a standalone release, but it niggles the back of my mind when I've always known the original pressing. If you're OCD like me, just pretend you've never heard the first pressings and treat it as a completely different tune. I suppose it won't make a blind bit of difference to those who are totally unaware.

Anyway, Dynamic and Beyond Understanding are my favourites. The ABC original is also better than the remix for me. Never liked Get The Message by the way (just thought I'd chuck that in extra).

Dynamic is the epitome of 92' Hardcore Rave for me.

Dynamic Is A Ruff Track, Carl Cox Played This With Frequency, Sounds Like It Was Written For Him! ABC Is Another Class Track Played By The Likes Of Stu Allen, The Whole EP Is The Nuts, Surprised Nothing Has Been Said About It Already..
