Reviews
- Nice soundstage ,,good clarity and definition ,,very balanced bass\mid/high nothing stands out .
I found it a very enjoyable listen with a great midrange punch ..
To be honest , this is a great option for anyone building a VH collection .
Well worth the price ,,i think most listeners would be thrilled with the first four albums from this series ....they play way ,way above their price range ...
This is a case where the remasters do a killer job of presenting all the soundscape , punch, and respect that should be expected from these legendary albums ...
If your on the fence,,,dont worry ,,these are weel worth the investment ..! - Edited 2 years agoThis sounds really, really good. Punchy, wide, open, dynamic with amazing clarity and bottom end. So worth $24 from B&N. I gave mine a wet clean and vacuum rcm as it came out of the sleeve a bit messy. Also, my copy states it is from the Netherlands as stated on the back, fyi. Such a great album and pressing. R.I.P. EVH!!
- Warner Brothers have always had decent, and often classic label designs. The new one on this pressing is lame, including the logo. Anyone else share this opinion?
- Edited 3 years agoThis record is my happy place. And this reissue is incredible, among the very best I've heard in recent years. Okay, not as good as the VH1 reissue, but that's a very high bar.
If you're having trouble finding a clean early pressing, forget it and pick this one up. One and done. Recommended. - Edited 2 years agoJust got my copy of this and it's another great repress & Chris Bellman remaster. Super clean, no surface noise, & very happy with it.
- Really great pressing of this album. Flat as a board and sounds crisp and clear. I feel like a lot of these tracks are fairly underrated in the band's catalog, too. No issues with surface noise on my copy either.
- I like the sound of this vinyl... Very quiet.. mine is not the flattest record... but sounds great very balanced to me... Technics 1200mk3D Nagoaka Mp200
- Excellent pressing. The vinyl is quiet, clear, and detailed. So far, these Chris Bellman remasters have not been disappointing.
- On the records I bought, I hear noise for a long time at the beginning of the A-1.
I changed the cartridge and heard it, but the result is the same.
