Notes

Originally released as a cassette on Endemic, the band’s label (Denver – 1986), and re-released as an LP on Dead Man’s Curve Records (London – 1987)//

/// Edition de 300 Copies / 12" Vinyl, gatefold, stamps with acrylic paint, each slightly different ///

Recorded in Denver between 1984 and 1986 at Free Reelin’ Sound and The Yogurt Factory. Remastered for this CD at Studio Midi-Pyrenees, Caudeval, France in March 2000.

"Etude for Combo" was recorded live in the “Yogurt Factory,” our old warehouse / rehearsal space / studio, before a small audience of friends, using just two microphones. The piece is heard here just as it was performed without editing or post-production alterations.
Words for B2 : the call and response section was based on “The Song of Amergin,” an ancient Celtic poem, calendar and alphabet.
Music for A3 was improvised at the Yogurt Factory during the Etude for Combo sessions.

THANKS to Shirley Kinnealy, Arnie Swenson, Lois La Fond, Jill Sobule (regardless of subsequent developments), Patrick Bower, and all the others who helped, encouraged or put up with us.

This present edition & artwork, JELODANTI 2020.
Big thanks to Steve from Cuneiform, and to Mike & Bob for their trust!!

such a great record! Unlike anything I've heard before and likely will ever hear again. Pressing is top quality. I only heard Warheads and I was sold. Etude for Combo is probably one of the tightest tracks I've ever heard musicians play.
