Sounds very good, but my copy is pressed off-center and has some warping (does not affect playback). Little to no surface noise.

      Flat dead quiet pressing!

Best I’ve heard this album. Thundering lows and great highs with Laynes voice to the forefront.

      Pressing: 9.5/10
      Mix: 10/10

Great repress, all of dynamics is here. I don't hear any pops, except for the silent parts.

My newly-arrived repress copy does not have the MPO logo stamped in the runout on either of the 4 sides, so it looks like this could have been manufactured by a completely different facility. Also the shrink-wrap on mine is folded over on the back (pull-apart style), as well of being completely devoid of any hype sticker. If anybody else has a copy that has these marks please let me know!

Pretty awesome pressing. Front cover is pixelated, but the inner sleeves are nice, glossy reproductions. I disagree with other reviews regarding muddiness on the mid-to-upper ends. I've listened to this on everything but the original vinyl and the instrumentation is fine. If anything, the original recording was tinny and lacked the bass and toms/kick that the remaster pushes up. The vocals really shouldn't be touched and I'm not seeing anything level-wise that suggests they were. "Love, Hate, Love" is the best I've ever heard it, and I really don't see much to complain about. Touch of sibilance on "I Know Something 'Bout You" but generally solid otherwise. I have very few gripes about this pressing other than the front cover being pixelated and always wanting a gatefold for double disc titles.

Has anyone compared This version to the boxset to the 1990 EU? Would love to hear the data. Thanks!

Great album, and a great repress. Get this pressing if you dont want to spend a small fortune on an OG pressing.

compressed on high and mid. Excessive low end compared to. Just like all other modern masterings. If you like any Music On Vinyl releases, you'd like this edition.
Personally, I'm not a big fan I'd CB cut nor MOV releases. In many a case, CB's cutting has lost details while stupidly boosting the low end. especially Drum sound. this is another example. If you're a big fan of this album, you better seek out an original pressing. And please don't get upset because I favor the original which may cost your arm and leg. but to know the difference between the two, you don't need much time. Spin this pressing and spin the original for 30 seconds. you will learn what I'm saying.
Btw the cover image of this release is cropped from the original.

Absolutely tremendous pressing. A bit on the nosier side as far as surface noise but I’m sure a good clean in my ultrasonic cleaner can fix that. It’s upsetting to see that the flippers are charging several times the amount it’s retail price, absolutely absurd. Everyone should just hold out on represses, I’m sure we’ll see some soon of this as well as the rest of the AIC catalog. But if you’re gonna splurge anyways, just get OG presses, it’ll be about the same as the MOV pressings are going for AND you’ll have the original not a reissue.
