Reviews
- A real treasure in the chest. Classic Ae but with that clearly focus and genius. (A) The different shades rotate and slide over the others and under the tact of a gigantic clock finally all seems to come to perfection when the clock ends to run - 3 minutes of peaceful light.
The same with the B side. Starts with heave beats and nice peaceful synths, followed by some minutes of beatless strings. To me both tracks are pure light, no darkness.
Does anyone knows something about the vocals? - Perfect release. Am I the only person who thinks this release is an ode to Coil's "Angelic Conversation"?
- Edited 11 years agotoday i found out there is an ellipses character, and it is preferable to three full stops for some reason
- Edited 18 years agoClassic Autechre. The first track is one of the darkest tracks they've ever done - not something for the casual listener, it clocks in at over nine deep, slow minutes. Cut up "vocals" like most of the Key Nell tracks. Feels apocalyptic. It's really kind of haunting, but in a good way.
The second track is a great compliment to the first, much brighter, kind of upbeat, and quite pleasant, but still cold. Kind of like Key Nell 4 but with its own unique feel. While this release doesn't amaze me, it's a great, obscure treasure. Vinyl only release. - The A-Side of this release is a excellent track up to par with the original Keynell, but the B-side is one of my favorite tracks from Autechre. Highly recommended!
