- A beautiful sounding record.
Crystal clear pressing. Leaps off the wax!
I have no idea why I waited so long to pick this up.
A must own for Eno fans. - Very nice pressing. It's almost all rare tracks but a couple tunes from Apollo are here. There's some really great dark drone pieces like The Sombre that I've never heard and even a couple surprising vocal tracks. All in all I would say this is an essential Eno album. Very happy with this one.
- i was totally loving this album and pressing, until i arrived at the third side, which has some terrible non-fill.
- Going to echo what's being said here. A solid pressing of amazing tracks. Many of which were completely new to me. Some of these tracks are up there with Eno's most beautiful. Beach Sequence alone made me track down a copy of the passenger's tape as quick as I could. I was surprised by that one too. Seems I may need to reevaluate some of U2's work.
- AMAZING, was not expecting this, but they are all wonderful wonderful pieces. If they told me this was a new album of new material I would also have believed it. It is very very amazing. Vinyl is dead quiet, almost no clics or pops.
- Just like others have written, the master and pressing on this release is truly wonderful, so much so that it has become my reference album. As much as this is do to Eno’s liquid crystalline choices, the final presentation is a Miles Showell joint and the music glistens in the air thanks to the cut from Miles and the care in pressing...okay side A of my particular album came covered in some kind of psychedelic factory residue, but that didn’t effect playback of the 3D sound. I hope all future reissues of this album are as well made. Never mind I hope that all future albums are made this well!
- Edited 3 years agoGreat album. I was worried it would be more an album of odds and sods, but it really does stand on its own two feet. Some really great pieces on here.
- What an incredible pressing, barely a click or a pop and it really allows Enos outstanding compositions to simply shine through, as it should be. If only all releases were like this.
