“The nothingness of a faithless void is a promise for the dying atheist as is the hope of a dying apostle for a peaceful paradise. One person kills another to be closer to God, another person kills another to stop them from being closer to God. The rest of us kill ourselves in pursuit of our own idea of God. Like the gods of faith and faithlessness, we are compelled to create and we are compelled to suffer. At the cost of our health and well-being we carry our trove of demons downhill, into the mud and fire, against the more acceptable judgement of those we leave behind.
Martyrs is an exploration of Promises, Hope and Faithlessness.”
