From u2songs.com: "This reissued Boy saw the return of a 12th track to the end of the album, a 35-second instrumental which had only appeared on early pressings of the original vinyl and had never been released on CD. Although not indicated as such on the reissue’s track listing, this instrumental is a snippet of the song “Saturday Night,” an early version of “Fire” from the October album."

Reviews
- Great looking edition, well designed / packaged. Sibilance is an issue that hasn’t really been fixed on this remaster - though it is tolerable. Pressing is dead-quiet and flat.
- I have been listening to this album (in various formats) for almost 40 years, and it has never, NEVER, sounded as good as this edition!
- I’ve been a fan since the very earliest days of the band. Absolute must have on vinyl and as part of any good record collection. This is absolutely amazing sounding. Flat. Clean. Deeply resonant with a clear sound stage. IMHO this has been the band’s best album and this pressing (at least mine) with the quality packaging and extras….grab it if you can. The fans need this one in their personal collections, so take a copy out of the flipper’s hands. What a fantastic listen.
- Solid master job and equally well done with the pressing. Very dynamic sound and a great U2 album to have on Vinyl.
- Unquestionable 5 stars at the $20 I paid for it. If shipping was free I would have paid $15 which would have been an unbelievable no brainer buy. Sounds amazing, properly mastered and a fantastic edition of a classic album. Lyric sheet and poster are really nice touches. An album that was absolutely meant for vinyl listening. Definitely one of the best purchases I have made recently for new vinyl. Can't tell you how happy I am with this one.
- I have a OG U S. pressing and this release. They both sound great. Recut at Bernie Grundman Mastering using the original master. Don't know if it was digital or analog. Sounds good so not worried.
- Superb reissue, done properly. Beautiful packaging, high quality poster and really well mastered and pressed. White vinyl completes the aesthetic
- How does this compare soundwise to an original pressing? Been 9 months since it's release and not one comment yet on the new compared to the old.....
