Reviews
- The Sauna Mix is the best and most-underrated mixes of this classis soulful house mix. It is more uplifting than the Knuckles/Morales mixes because it doesn't cut out any of the instruments but instead combines them to devastating effect.
- Surprised no one has mentioned it - the Cut to the Bone mix is an instrumental version with no vocals at all. As there's so many mixes, I figure that might save someone the time of listening to them all.
- Edited 3 years agoIndeed... no one is better than first release.. except for their own Morales and Knuckles re-editions, like (Sound Factory Mix),(Sauna Mix) and (Mo' Knuckles Mix), gorgeous mixes too.
AVOID fakers producers... one example : SHIELD SILK RE-EDIT on 2017 is totaly fake and He´s used and abused by 1990 original classic mix PRODUCED by David Morales & Frankie Knuckles .... WHAT A SHAME!!!
- Avoid all the many many tampered with crazy awful mixes
just one 12" is needed the First UK one
has the two actual and mind blowing originals
1. Sauna mix by the originator/writer/composer and what he intended Lati Krowlund
2. David Morales & Frankie Knuckles Classic mix (DEF Mix-Definity)
no one comes close to these two or should they have even tried waste of time tape lathe cutter metals and pellets - Regardless of what other commenters have said about remixes of this track after the original release, the Joey Negro remix, in my opinion, is fantastic. It updates the track while respecting the original elements that made it an all-time classic.
