- What can I say...It made me cry. I'm a big fan of Leroy Burgess and this is just a great homage to him. Dave Lee did an amazing job with this one. The sound is amazing and all the mixes are delightful. This is a must have if you call yourself a boogie lover.
- Yep...this sure is a Leroy Burgess song right here. A shame it got shelved after it was recorded. (Ditto for another Burgess track, "Heavenly")--It's every bit as good as what WAS released during this golden era of urban music.
Great mixes by Dave Lee, but have no idea what the OG mix sounded like, provided one even existed in the first place.
Grab this while you can. - Edited 4 years agoDave Lee's "Boogie Boy Dub" mix is just SO exceptional, to me. It is one of those rare tracks, that I cannot play when my mam is around though!! As I find it impossible to hear without wanting to pull on my tight, golden hot pants and boogie bop, insuppressibly. So I have to patiently wait, until my mam has gone to her pentecostal church to praise Lord Jesus. Then I draw the living room curtains and let loose, so flamboyantly!!
