You know I usually see reviews about bad presses and shrug them off. Holy shit. This one is truly bad. Beware. A muddled mess.

Picked this up new quite cheap from a record store during a sale. Massively regret it. All 4 edges of Side A that were in contact with the edges of the inner sleeve have big scratches there, it's incredibly dirty and dusty straight out of the sleeve, crackly and noisy like you'd expect from an old damaged record, and so quiet that I can't get through High School Friends at a decent volume without tremendous feedback from the background buzz. Absolute crap

I had to buy the original pressing to get the sound it deserves. All other pressings don't come close to the original, not mentioning the missing tracks.

Agree with everyone else. Very bad pressing. Have to turn volume right up in order to hear it. Background humming noise.

As everyone says, the volume is very low on this particular pressing. Great album, but avoid this pressing.

DO NOT buy this pressing from Plain Recordings... Just as other users have said, an amazing album but the sound is just terrible. Huge let down... Unluckily, I blindly bought their 3 releases under this pressing, and the 3 are just as bad, no wonder they were cheap. If you just want to have an object that spins... Buy this. But if you are here for the music, stay with the CD's or older pressings!

Another bad review for this pressing. I didn't believe everyone and got it anyway. I should have listened. Plus "Platypus" isn't on here.

This pressing is as bad as everyone says it is. Avoid.

Unlike the CD or cassette, the LP version does not contain the track 'Platypus', as that was released separately as a 7".
