Reviews
- I bought it today, with a little background noise, although you can hear good strong bass, little sibilance, in general good pressing
- Edited 2 years agoBit of surface noise on mine, but nothing to complain about. A good cleaning and a few plays should clear it up entirely.
Beyond that, this is heads-and-shoulder above the "modern" remixed-remastered release versions in my opinion.
Plenty of kick. Not the amount low-end as a modern release, as was the way back then, but that's what the loudness button is for.
Upper bass and low mids are incredibly punchy here, and the highs are nice and crisp with just a touch of roll-off. Very little if any of that brittle digital sound in the highs. Rides and cymbals sound like rides and cymbals.
Great cut of this classic.
