- I'm actually moderately surprised that Brian and Gaz ok'd this. I'm old enough to remember buying 'accelerator' new and it remains a fantastic pressing. To be honest I think it's just that old 'picture disc' chestnut. Doesn't retract from the quality of the music. From 'tales of ephidrena' to 'lifeforms' and then 'dead cities' they can't be bettered by any other artist.end of discussion.
plays wonderfully clean, one of my best sounding picture discs!- 1. Always clean a new record manufactured post 2000 and
2. never keep it in a PVC sleeve that might very well destroy the audio as it interacts with the vinyl over time - specially at temperature shifts if I've gathered correctly. - Surprising good sonic quality for a picture disc with so many tracks per side.
No clicks or pops at all on my copy.
The music is top class FSOL I will enjoy for years to come.

Worth buying in terms of sound quality? I understand it is a picture disc, so not much to expect ,right?
