Contains a collection of mostly instrumental tracks "re-recorded and mixed in 1993", chosen by Eloy's leader - Frank Bornemann - from previous albums (1977-1983, arguably their best period), with improved/"up-to-date" sound from re-assembled former band members. Definitely a treat for fans of this symphonic/progressive/art-rock german supergroup. Includes one unreleased title recorded in 1992, during the production of the album "Destination". Also available as a double CD package (SPV Records) with "Chronicles II" (released separately in 1994) which includes material from their subsequent albums issued 1988 and 1992. Highly recommended, even if only as an introduction to the band.
