Phenomenal album. Super cool and absolutely love it. Will be picking up soon.
This is a Grindy, somewhat more mid-tempo death metal release, and it falls very in line with the Old School Death Metal releases I love so much, just 30 years later. Super groovy, and extremely dark. Far less melodic than the releases of the 90s, much heavier and more obviously studio produced. Music is phenomenal, extremely bold and echoing drumming and solid riffing. Much less vibrato than many OSDM releases, almost doomy. Great for fans of “Paradise Lost - Lost Paradise” (Death/Doom Metal, 1990), “Cianide - The Dying Truth” (Death/Doom Metal, 1992), and “Carnage - Dark Recollections” (Death Metal, 1990)- Anyway to differentiate this pressing from the legitimate pressing that MSUO just released?
