I've listened to most of disc one and though I'm pleased to have bought this set I am a little disappointed that some of the songs have been taken from vinyl. This might explain why some of the tracks haven't appeared on CD before but unless Enigma Records have retained some control over tracks that appeared on their releases I don't understand why some of the tracks were taken from vinyl when a digital version exists, for example, "The World and His Wife" and "Hard Facts from the Fiction Department."
I also have an issue with "Dancing Music" where part of the end of the track has been lost somehow. The lyric is "No more time for me to prove it, in your head you're dancing to it" but it plays "No more time for me to prove it dancing to it" - I can't imagine there being any good reason to edit it. Perhaps it was a slip of the mouse in the editing suite?
I'm beginning to get used to amateur post-production (I do it myself) but I am constantly bewildered at how many CDs have been mastered by people who just don't know the music.
I hope that when I listen to disc 2 I won't have any other howling edits to report.
      December 21, 2020.
PS I started a discussion on Bill's website and it was pointed out that there is also data loss on the track "Rhythm Unit" - it has been suggested that replacement tracks might be made available as a free download.

One error in the booklet: track 1-12 "The World and His Wife" was not "previously unavailable on CD" as it was issued on CD in the US in 1989 Bill Nelson - Quit Dreaming And Get On The Beam .
