Reviews
- Most of Olav's Samplitude Volumes and tracks did not age so well but B2 is a really great track. Works well pitched down to -5 or so to get a great deep vibe.
- For me 'Get over', I am still playing it, my vinyl copy is almost deat from many plays so I had to buy in dgotal to, visit the webpage of Basoski lot of tunes available there :)
- Plenty of typical Basoski hard-disco, looping house madness here. Classic, in its own regard. I like Get Over the most off this collection. It has a very nice bongo infused beat to kick the track off (almost tribal, in a way) complemented by scratch effects and vocal samples. After about 2 minutes of this, you're feeling the groove, wondering where it's going to lead you, when Olav drops a massively smooth bassline and a repeating reverb'ed keyboard chord on the 4-beat. It becomes a looping, deep house gem throughout the rest of the track, implementing the usual breakdown, and rising up again to point where he brings that jazzy-smooth feeling back again.
