The Temptations ‎– Sky's The Limit

This album stands on just two tracks: Just My Imagination (should need no explanation), and "Smiling Faces Sometimes". The latter is a 12.5 minute masterpiece of psychedelic rock. I'm a fan of the "art rock" of the late 60's, early seventies (think any track longer than 6 minutes, featuring in addition to standard guitar bass and drums, flutes, violins, organs, harps, electronic keyboards, etc). While much of this art rock emanated from Europe and England in particular, this was Motown's answer to the same trend. If you like "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", you'll see the same idea in this track, just as fully executed.
