Reviews
- Edited one year agoStrong album. Full of the lively and the emotional compositions youd expect from this artist. And even though Herbie and Wayne are listed among its personnel credits, they dont do much in here, and despite the occasional english lyrics the music remains pure Milton all the way through. Check out 'Francisco' for further proof!
Closer number 'Os Povos' has such a hauntingly beautiful, yet sad quality to it (both musically and lyrically, check the english translation of its lyrics if you need to) i was baffled first time i listened to it, as the tune resembles more and more some sort of strange procession music as it moves on. The way Milton duets the simple chords from his guitar with his voice as the song fades away has to be one of the most unique musical moments ive experienced and i cant even figure out why. Love the gatefold artwork as well!
