They did a good job of improving the clarity as a lot of her recordings sounded muffled. In doing so, they did rob a bit of the midrange but I'd prefer they did than leave it muffled. The only thing I found rather unsettling is the hard panning of the stereo. It's possible that they could only use the original mix and that's how it was done. Overall a great job and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who only has a muffled, earlier pressing

Fantastic release. Ultra quiet vinyl, flat as it can be and the sound... just wow.

As drgn238 says, "STELLAR". This is a fantastic release. The vinyl is quiet even before I cleaned it. Now it's dead quiet. Comes with a awesome book of pictures. Mine also has a 5 1/2 inch wide wrap around hype sleeve that is the full length of the jacket. And the jacket is gorgeous! A class act release all the way. The sound quality will make you melt into your chair.

Just to echo the previous reviews, this compilation offers absolute top quality sound. Smooth with just enough top end to offer some bite, and sounding far more natural than my complete collection of UK Original LPs, and my partial collection of US Stereo LPs. It even made me enjoy the earlier tracks in stereo!

The booklet is also fantastic, offering large amounts of often unfamiliar photos, and a great introduction and interview with Nancy. My only complaint is I wish the jacket was tip-on rather than normal cars stock, but the printing is still stellar, so no complaints really. Grab it!

Have a lot of her original LPs , and bought this one because it's all in one place .
But what a surprise - I dare to say that sound quality is STELLAR !!!
And I heard a many tens of thousands of LPs and singles , so that I do know what am I talking about !

I was on the fence about buying because I have a number of her original LPs and I'm quite happy with them. But it just looked so cool, and well... it's Nancy Sinatra! I was skeptical about what the sound quality would be but I'm SO glad I went for it and got this awesome release. The artwork and booklet is fantastic and the sound quality is GREAT! I highly recommend it for anyone into her music or a newbie just discovering her. It's gotta be the BEST collection of her songs you're gonna find (at least on vinyl). So glad I added this to my collection. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate! Before it sells out and you'll have to pay twice the price, if you're lucky to find it...

Great collection. Presentation outstanding. Present’s Nancy’s catalog in an impressive intro for those long time fans and new ones alike.

Can anyone tell if this black vinyl US pressing has a heavyweight cardboard sleeve (as Light In The Attic usually does) or a glossy paper sleeve ? Thanks !
